Mizpah Outreach Statement of Faith

•…the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and the only authoritative Word of God, the ultimate authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

•…there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, namely: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

•…in the deity and virgin birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His perfect humanity and sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious, substitutionary and atoning death upon the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His mediatorial intercession, and in, His personal return in power and glory. He is the only Saviour of mankind.

•…in the total depravity and lost condition of man by nature, and in his need of the new birth by the regenerating power of the Holy Spirit.

•…in justification by faith, apart from the works of the law. Man can only be saved by Grace through faith in Christ alone.

•…in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling presence, the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

•…in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

•…in the resurrection of the saved and the lost – the saved unto the resurrection of life, and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation

•…in the Second Coming of Christ in Glory to the earth when He will establish His glorious and literal Millennial kingdom on earth.

•…in the Invitation from God to all men that, ‘He who believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.’ John 3:16

•…in the Call of God to ‘Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all the things that I have commanded you.’ Matthew 28:18-20.

•…in the responsibility of believers to tell others as ‘How shall they hear without a preacher, and how shall they preach, except they be sent.’ Romans 10:14-15.
